Pilates is often called a “moving meditation,” because of the incredible focus of mind on the body, Pilates is a non-impact exercise system that emphasizes alignment and body awareness Pilates strengthens the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. Pilates practise can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing. Yoga is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance. There’s some evidence that regular yoga practice is beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains – including lower back pain – depression and stress.
Our lifestyle coaching can incorporate one or both of these disciplines along with specific dietary regimes and general health care and life coaching by qualified specialists.
Light lunch and refreshments. Afternoon meditation and stretch with evening Yoga/Pilates session/s with your instructor.
Early morning Yoga session followed by breakfast. Free time for meditation, relaxing by the pool or exploration. Late afternoon Pilates session followed by an early evening Yoga session and dinner. The instructors build in time for one-to-one sessions during the day.

“I spent a 4 blissful days at David and Sarah’s villa as part of a heath and fitness retreat. Everything about it was perfect. David and Sarah were amazing hosts. They provide a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, the rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Outside if the sun gets too hot there are plenty places to sit comfortably and lounge in the shade or dip in the lovely pool. The whole place inside the villa, the gardens and the pool are very clean and the home cooked food is very healthy and nutritious I particularly recommend the homemade chocolate mousse. They really did cater for everyones’ needs which were quite diverse in the group. As a couple they are warm and very charming with great stories to tell.
The location Buger is a gorgeous village with friendly locals, quiet and unassuming. You can enjoy the small cafes, local walks and amazing scenery of the Tramuntana mountains in the background. The villa is set on the beautiful island of Mallorca, a short distance away from the stunning north coast and Puerto Pollensa. It is also well connected to other parts of the island by public transport, we visited Inca and Palma during our stay.
If you want to enjoy a taste of the real Mallorca this is the place to stay.”
The villa was great and you were amazing hosts. Not only would I come back I’ve been thinking about a biking weekend later in the year – when it cools down a bit. Recommendation. Easy 5 with no reservation. Regarding friends again no reservation there
Next time I speak with Clare I’ll be encouraging her to make her retreat an annual event in Majorca.

Loved the shower with a view! Stunning setting and such a huge potential with the garden. Loved the yoga, both inside and by the pool and really enjoyed the massage!!
Another big thanks for looking after us, the food was delicious, the recommendations and taking us to all the lovely places gave us a real authentic mallorcan experience: the markets, the restaurants and the food, the lovely places and stunning and amazingly green countryside and not to forget your amazing oranges, freshly picked from the trees.

Fab food (soup and cake particularly outstanding on Day 1), yoga and pilates up to both Jamie and Janet’s very high standards. Just a shame that my back was not up to standard. The medicinal gin portions proved more effective that yoga on this occasion! I will endeavour to be turning up to any future retreat in rather better condition and certainly if cycling.
