Our signature trip, giving you full control to customise every element of your time with us on the island. Choose how much (or little) time you spend on the bike, where you want to ride, and the duration of your stay.
Palma de Mallorca Airport
Each day starts with breakfast and a rider briefing – your chance to ensure you get what you want from the day ahead. Planned on riding to Sa Calobra but rather enjoy a long lunch than ride one of the island’s infamous climbs? It’s your holiday – simply assess how you feel, then let us know. Tasteful rooms with private balconies overlooking our terraced garden offer the ideal setting for unwinding after a day on the bike. Then, you’ll enjoy access to our pool, in-house sports therapy when you need it, and regional wine and home-cooked food.
It’s time to unpack, and set the bikes up – Light lunch/refreshments
Set out for a spin to loosen the legs off – Puig de Santa Magdalena (7% climb ) – the locals train on this Puig -a view of the island awaits at the summit (about 2 hours)
After riding past the Santuari de Lluc monastery on the prettiest climb on the island, Coll de Sa Batalla, we’ll head to the world-famous Port de Sa Calobra to take on one of cycling’s classic ascents. Then onto the Gorg Blau reservoir past Cuber underneath Puig Major descending into the picturesque town of Soller. After lunch, a spectacular climb onto Deia, a descent to Valledemossa and a spin back home.
This day’s riding takes us to the training grounds of the pros – Pollensa and Alcudia. We’ll climb the Mirador Es Colomer before reaching the iconic descent to the lighthouse at Cap Formentor. On our return to the villa, we’ll climb to the Talaia d’Albercutx tower.
We’ll ride locally or further afield depending on your departure time. Because of our villa’s position, many of the island’s iconic riding destinations are accessible right from the doorstep.
We have a small fleet of CEEPO road bikes available for hire that we maintain in-house, with a range of sizes available. Please let us know your preferences and we can prepare the bike for your arrival. Alternatively, we can help you to arrange your own bike hire on the island. We also have our own range of exclusively designed Milltag cycling clothing available to guests at a special price, including jerseys, bibs, shorts and gilets.
Lovely comfortable villa with great views and good location for easy reach of The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and local village bar.
Very enthusiastic hosts who were happy to make recommendations for alternative arrangements on rainy days. Far better than staying in a hotel full of over competitive cyclists. David and Sarah were very accommodating and happy to drive us around for bike collection and drop off etc.
David – excellent and considerate route guide who was happy to go at the group’s pace and also fix lunch stop restaurants.
Sarah – Excellent chef and first aider for ride wounds.
Own in-house quality riding gear for purchase.
“David makes a great guide, not only because he knows the island like the back of his hand but also because he knows all the best cafes, restaurants and bars”.
“The location of the villa is a cyclist’s paradise, with easy access to the well known routes and climbs, like Sa Calobra, Cap Formentor and Lluc monastery”.
Sarah gives the most wonderful individualised sports massage. She carefully unraveled my neck and shoulders with skill, intuition and talent and it was such a highlight of the holiday to have this service offered on top of everything else.
As a fully qualified personal trainer, David was able to do postural and biomechanical assessments and give advice on exercises and stretches and improve cycling and running technique. They really have thought of everything!!
Lots of delicious food, fresh lemons and oranges off the tree in the front garden, great company, wonderful villa and gardens. Walking, running and yoga in the beautiful surroundings! Can’t wait to go back!! Strongly recommended for Mallorca holidays for supported cycling, great food and lots of R&R. Thanks so much Sarah and David. Feeling rested and renewed and well cared for!
We had a great cycling break with Bespoked. Ahead of our trip, both David and Sarah took the time to find out what we wanted from our holiday, offering advice, helping us arrange bike hire and suggesting cycling route options as well as places to eat, which all made our stay hassle-free.
Buger is a good base for cycling with some challenging hill climbs nearby as well as easier routes along quiet lanes. We took advantage of David’s guiding service which was a great way to get to know some of the best routes (and cake stops!) and, from my point of view, to build up my confidence on the hillier terrain.
After a day’s cycling, it was really lovely to come back to a spacious quiet room with its own terrace where we could relax with a drink looking out at the views. All-in-all, it was a lovely way to spend a long weekend!
