Accomodation & Room Details

Our 2 rooms sleep up to 4 guests; the rooms are twin rooms which can be made up into a SuperKing double if preferred, with a discrete lounge/sitting area and private terrace. The rooms have twin beds and a double sofa-bed. The rooms can be hired individually or together as a self-contained flat with our other Twin/King Double room – please let us know if you would like to choose their option.

The bathroom is shared between the two rooms in the independent flat, and has a large tiled walk-in shower, modern sink and toilet.

We can provide 3 evening meals per week and will cater to your preferences and dietary requirements. We cook local produce, our menus being based around what is available fresh on the day.

The Villa

The villa is set within 2,000 meters of terraced gardens complete with lily pond and citrus orchard, we have a swimming pool with sun loungers and a shaded seating area, whilst staying in the villa there will be a fully stocked honesty bar with wine, beer and soft drinks for you to enjoy at your own convenience.

Please be aware the pool is open between 8:00 am and 8:00pm during the summer months.

The Local Area

The villa is located in the local village of Buger, the centre of the village is a 10 minute walk with great access to supermarkets, local bakeries, restaurants and bars. There is local market held every Saturday where you can purchase fresh local produce artisan goods and clothing.

To access some of Mallorca’s lovely sandy beaches there is the local motorway MA-13 which gives access to the beaches on the north and east of the island.

Bikes and Clothing

If you don’t wish to bring your own bike and want to hire a bike, we have a small fleet of really good bikes available, ensuring that the bikes will be ready for your arrival at the villa. Or we can help you to arrange bike hire on the Island.

Typical 7 Day Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival – usually with us by lunchtime

It’s time to unpack, and set the bikes up – Light lunch/refreshments

Set out for a spin to loosen the legs off – Puig de Santa Magdalena (7% climb ) – the locals train on this Puig -a view of the island awaits at the summit (about 2 hours)

DAY 2 – Cap de Formentor – Distance – 100km Climbing 1,894m

The route takes in Sa Pobla/Port Alcuida/Alcuida/Puerto Pollensa onto the Cap. A steady climb to the Mirador Es Colomer and on past Cala Figuera, onto the iconic descent to the lighthouse at Cap Formentor. The return will take in a short climb to Talaia d’Albercutx for fantastic view along the eastern coastline of the island. Return via Pollensa (old town) and back through Campanet down to the villa.

DAY 3 – Alaro/Orient – Distance – 94.3km Climbing 1,202m

Campanet, Moscari, Selva, Inca, Lloseta onto MA210 Alaro pass Bodegas Castell Miguel MA2100 past S’Oliveret – Hotel Hermitage through Orient onto the Coll D’Orient onto the Coll d’Honor into Bunyola onto Santa Maria del Cami, Sencelles, Costitx to LLubi – Muro, Pobla – Home (with Sineu a possibility)

DAY 4 – Soller/Valdemossa – Distance – 114.3km Climbing 2,063m

Campanet Moscari, Selva, Caimari, up the prettiest climb on the island to Coll de Sa Batalla past Lluc monastery past the junction to Sa Calobra past the Gorg Blau reservoir past Cuber underneath Puig Major until the Mirador MA 10 before the 10km descent into Soller. Soller MA10 to Llucalcari onto S’Empeltada, Deia, down to Valledemossa to S’Esgleieta onto Palmanyola across the MA11 to Santa Maria del Cami, Consell, Binnisalem, Inca – home

DAY 5 – Capdepera – Distance 129.7 km Climbing 1,253m

Buger, Muro, Can Picafort, Son Serra de Marina, Arta, Capdepera, Son Servera, Sant Llorenc des Cardassar, (Manacor), Petra, Santa Margalida, Llubi, Buger

DAY 6 – Sa Calobra – Distance 72km Climbing 1,877m

Campanet Moscari, Selva, Caimari, up the prettiest climb on the island to Coll de Sa Batalla past Lluc monastery from there down to the world famous Port de Sa Calobra one of the classic climbs on the island.

DAY 7 – depending on times of departure, we can either stay reasonably local or venture further afield
